TEST ENGINEER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / TO £30K

* Our client seeks a Test Engineer to provide design support to their engineering test equipment team
* Role involves: Development of jigs, fixtures, cable harnesses & product specific test capabilities
* The Test Engineer will support senior designers in developing engineering test equipment meeting requirements for testing of aerospace products
* Also involves significant interaction with key test equipment suppliers

- Knowledgeable in electronic test technologies
- Electronics design exp
- Exp programming in a modern high level language
- Readiness to travel
- Aerospace test exp
- Quality systems knowledge
- CAD skills
- Use of electronic simulation tools
- Training to be chartered
This varied TEST ENGINEER’s role will also involve:
* Design & documentation of cable harnesses & test interface equipment
* Manage suppliers
* Commission test equipment
* Work with engineering development teams to ensure appropriate test coverage
* Document test requirements
* Develop test scripts for development testing
* Support senior engineers & team leader in the development of engineering test equipment
